Even though the headline on Amazon states “Commercial Ice Shaver”, there is no reason I would not own this in my house. It is a fantastic unit, the only way to describe the ice is like ‘snow’. It creates such a fine shavng of ice its incredible! This unit would be a great ‘rentable’ type becuase of it outlasting durability too. It has a premuim finish, with brass and stainless steel construction. Using a heavy duty 1/3 HP , 1725 rpm motor, this generates the neccessary power to create these fine shavings.

This machine is capable of going through over 350 lbs of ice an hour! It is a very durable machine, this will withstand the tests of time and use. A typical ice machine will crush ice, and creates a type of ‘grainy ice’ which is unfavorable. This machine actually shaves the ice (very slowly and carefully) and produces some of the softest and tastiest ice you possibly could.
The cutting blades are made of highly durable stainless steel. The only ‘extra’ thing you might need is a pail of bucket, which you will fill with water to freeze. This can be something like an old milk jug or plastic container. I would recommend a milk jug (cleaned out) for best use, with the top cut off. Or maybe an ice cream pail , although not full as it would be too much! After its frozen you place your block onto the machines cutting area, and watch it go with 1725rpm of power shaving it down!

This is a very retro cool looking shaved ice machine, it definitly has perks from the 50′s in its design. I love the way it looks and proudly show it on my kitchen counter. This countertop appliance uses regular-size ice cubes, and its durable stainless-steel blades quickly transform ice into fluffy snow.
Add any flavored syrup for a snow cone, or experiment with other combinations–such as a soda pop for a slushy drink, yogurt or fruit for snow smoothies, and more. It makes very fine snow and is able to do this with its high quality blades. Because of its snowy fine consistency, the shaved ice absorbs the syrup flavors instead of them running to the bottom and you being left with a chunk of ice! Two reusable plastic cones are included, which is great considering alot of shaved ice machines come with a box of paper ones which run out rather quickly. I would have like more than 2 snow cones though, thats not very many at all I find especailly if youre hading some friends over.
Other thoughtful details include a side tray to hold the snow cones which is very handy, a built-in safety on/off switch, and a removable ice-cube compartment for quick cleaning. It runs 40 watts and has a 90 day limited warranty.

Before you consider buying an Ice Crusher you have to have a set amount you want to spend. Ice crushers can range from 50 bucks all the way up to 400 bucks. The name is important in selecting one, these units will experience major wear and tear and you will need parts and warranties on them.

This is a very affordable shaved ice machine/maker. Amazon is selling this for only 30-40 dollars most of the time. Its fairly simple to use with basic instructions and usability.

You can use any normal ice cubes (from your fridge or from ice trays) but it works best if you use the mold they give you, assuming you prefer a very fine shaved like texture (which most people do). You can also adjust the blade as necessary for creating the texture of ice desired. The only downfall is that you only get 2 molds with the machine, which some people may not consider enough.
Using the snow cone holder is optional, and very handy for young kids. A young teenager could easily operate the machine with supervision. You can also just place a cup or a small bowl under the nozzle to save your snow cone cups. As with alot of shaved ice machines, you can try this machine with frozen milk, soda and juice and it still works well. The shaved ice can also be mixed with fruit and yogurt for a healthy snack. You and your family will love the simplicity, and affordability of this shaved ice machine!

This is a complete part package, perfect if you want to get started with a kids party or event (right away). Its made by Hawaiian Shaved Ice who are a a quality maker of shaved ice machines. It comes with the S900A Shaved Ice Machine, 2 ice molds, a 16 oz bottle of cherry, grape and blue raspberry syrup. Also included is 25 snow cone cups, 25 spoon straws and 3 push-pull pourers. Hawaiian’s syrup’s are usually pretty good and are not watered down, with a high flavor taste. Alot of the generic brand syrups do not have alot of flavor I’ve noticed.
As standard, it comes with a 1 year warranty.
If you’re planning on using this model, use the recommended Ice Molds, they work WAY better then regular cubes. We tried using the cubes and the shavings are not as fine as the mold will create. However I would also recommend waiting about 15 minutes after taking the Ice Mold out of the freezer as to melt or temper the ice to a finer mold. This makes it easire and your shaved ice quality is much better.
This is a great shaved ice machine for a family , especially if your’re in birthday season! Its amazing how fast you can make snow cones with this (assuming your ice is ready!)

If you have ever seen one in the store, or perhaps looked at them online at thought “Do I need that”? Well I can tell
you from personal experience the answer is an astounding yes! They are a lot of fun and can keep your parties and gathering
one to be talked about for years.They are easy to set up and maintain and offer fantastic drinks and cones. These are some compiled reasons to purchase a shaved ice machine.
1. Kids Parties
If you have kids, this is a must. Kids are always after something new and entertaining at a party or gathering. When I bring out

3. Potential Money Opportunity with a shaved ice machine
This dawned on me during a kids party event , someone came up to me and said “you should rent this out”. It would be a great idea I though to make some extra cash. You would ideally want a nostalgic type shaved ice machine for a park or baseball game, one that is on wheels or such. If you wanted to rent out to kids parties, make a package
for parents where they could choose 20-25 cones and 5 flavors (or something like that) and a simpler counter top model would be ideal. However for party rentals it would be ideal to incorporate other ideas such as hot dog machine, popcorn maker and then you could have a full party package. An excellent opportunity.
